This is a First Level Management position, which reports into the RMS Engineering and Technology TLS Configuration & Data Management Lead. The position will have approximately 15 direct reports. The unit will have individuals spanning various skill groups, which will support a variety of responsibilities including configuration and data management. The position will require technical project management including task definition, cost estimation, and manpower planning. Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to create innovative solutions. Proven technical competence on multiple programs with a demonstrated ability in developing solutions to technical problems and in providing technical direction to task teams. Demonstrated capabilities to guide teams, monitor project activities, and identify risks. Proven ability in written and verbal communications, process skills and team oriented. Strong process focus, familiarity with CMMI concepts, with ability to recognize opportunities for improvement and drive required changes. Maintain a broad knowledge of the market space and evaluate commercial and technical trends. This position will have a broad range of responsibilities, including: - BOE (GEN BOE) preparation and review. -Manpower Analysis (GRID) and projections -Tool definition and implementation -IC support to Market Segment within TLS LOB - Interaction with program management, development engineering, and customers. - Manage all activities to meet or exceed all technical, schedule and cost expectations The first line manager will be responsible for administering all aspects of our Lockheed Martin personnel policies including, but not limited to conducting performance planning, career planning, mentoring, skill assessment, training, counseling and evaluations. The position is in Orlando, FL. Some travel may be required.
Basic Qualifications -Demonstrated strong technical background in hardware, software and systems engineering disciplines. -Configuration/Data Mgmt skills, to include Hardware CM, Software CM, subcontractor deliverables and COTS CM. -Demonstrated strong communications, coordination, integration, and advanced planning skills. -Demonstrated Earned Value Mgmt. -Experience preparing proposals cost estimates. Must have ability to obtain secret clearance
Desired skills CAM trained and certified Familiarity with RMS CM Processes Familiarization with System of Systems configurations. Working knowledge of the RMS workforce planning tool (GRID) Knowledge of DD-250 process Experience in CM Tools including PTC Windchill, ClearQuest/ClearCase, JIRA, GIT and SharePoint
