•Engineering support for multiple programs and participates in all electrical engineering functions throughout the product development lifecycle. • Design, development, assessment, troubleshooting and analysis. • In addition, duties may include development of technical reports, plans, procedures for qualification test and evaluation of redesigns and prototypes to ensure compliance with customer objectives. • Maintaining simulation devices to meet availability specifications. • Applies technical knowledge to solve complex problems by documenting design drawings, manuals or simulator documents, performs other duties as assigned. • Comply with company policies and procedures. • Work in a fast-paced environment to stringent deadlines • Document and maintain cabling interconnects and electrical drawings. • Supports all technical training and product briefing with customers. • Meeting OCOUNUS requirements of various countries that hardware maintenance training systems will be configured/designed. • Selection of critical assets, especially country specific (UPS, PDUs, etc.) • Create layout for system interconnect/schematics. • Document designs using Zuken E3 • Layout of electrical (power and data) design/analysis for various systems.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Must be able to obtain a US DoD Secret clearance. Proficient with electronic systems schematic interpretation, and equipment troubleshooting. Proficient in Zuken E3 electrical cabling and schematic capture CAD tool. Experience with the installation and/or maintenance of large computer networks. Willing to travel to support technical tasks, system installations, modifications and testing. Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Scheduler. Possess good oral and written communication skills; and be self-motivated in performance of duties with limited supervision. Must be capable of establishing and maintaining a courteous relationship with all customers.
Desired skills Experience with hardware integration, design, and documentation. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management software programs/products. Experience with simulation training devices. Experience should include hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance. Experience with asset management and developmental designs in support of a simulator training environment.
