This position is located in Orlando, FL in support of the F35 program and perform the tasks of an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO). ISSOs work under the direction of the Information System Security Manager (ISSM). This position is responsible for the following areas: 1) System level configuration guidance to the system administrator staff combined with auditing and anti-virus to ensure integrity of the security support structure of classified systems 2) Maintaining System Security Plans in accordance with applicable government guidance and directives such as Risk Management Framework (RMF) under the JSIG and the NISPOM. 3) Coordinating requested system changes with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), Configuration Control Board and government approvers. 4) Conducting security education training for all system users on appropriate risk mitigation strategies. 5) Continuously reviewing systems for potential vulnerabilities and implementing appropriate risk mitigation efforts under the guidance of the ISSM. 6) Maintaining all classified computer systems in inspection-ready state at all times 7) Investigating security incidents to include data spills, data integrity incidents, and malicious code incidents. 8) Other duties as assigned. 9) Mission requirements may dictate shift-work other than that reflected in the requisition.
Basic Qualifications 1) This position requires applicants to have a final in-scope secret security clearance with a background investigation performed within the last six (6) years. This position also requires additional enhanced security review in accordance with Government contract requirements and it is a condition of employment that individuals hired into positions requiring program clearance obtain and maintain such clearance within sufficient time to allow Lockheed Martin meet its business needs. 2) Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) under the JSIG and/or the NISPOM. 3) Must have and have the ability to maintain DoD 8570 certification IAT Level II (Security +CE or equivalent) is required at a minimum. 4) Knowledge of security configuration of various Windows and UNIX based operating systems. 5) Excellent verbal and written communicative skills 6) Must be knowledgeable of information technology and security principles.
This is a high up-tempo, multi-tasking, environment that demands customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
Desired skills 1) Prior experience as an ISSO/IAO or System Administrator 2) Configuration Management 3) Scripting 4) Additional certifications - CISSP, CASP GSEC, GCWN and current Microsoft certifications which could include MCSA, MCITP, MCSE, MCAS. 5) Equipment tracking for computer asset inventories. 6) COMSEC 7) Ability to acquire TS Clearance
