Lockheed Martin Lead Maintainability Engineer / PHST Design & Test / PSE / Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida

This position is contingent upon a future contract award (expected in Q4 of 2017) supporting a Missiles & Fire Control program within the Engineering & Technology function, as well as Customer funding for this position.

The candidate will perform the role of ILS Technical Lead. Define requirements and develop the Maintenance and Logistics (M&L) solution for the system. The M&L Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be knowledgeable with current DoD Maintenance and Integrated Logistics Systems as well as existing government logistics facilities and equipment as appropriate. The M&L SME is responsible for evaluating the ILS design and development activity for its capability to meet the customer and program defined requirements to enable the affordable and effective handling and maintenance of the system. The M&L SME is responsible for developing an affordable, strategic sustainment solution to ensure that all M&L design efforts including shipping container and support equipment meet performance requirements and minimize impacts to logistics infrastructure. Prepare and support Technical and Program Reviews. Domestic travel will be required to other LM sites, team members, suppliers and customer sites.

Basic Qualifications •Must be a US Citizen with an Active Department of Defense Secret clearance with an investigation in the past 5 years. •Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience developing and delivering presentations. •An analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation. •Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills across disciplines - management, production, engineering. •Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft suite of applications..
