Missile Program Systems Engineering Requirements Lead is responsible for deriving and documenting the system requirements in a consolidated Systems Performance Specification. The SE requirements lead is also responsible for TRL/MRL evaluation and maturation and all risk management associated with improving technical maturity. They will proactively lead across Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to document IPD related production and sustainment issues into the front-end of the design process using Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Support (DFS) capabilities. The SE Lead assists the Program Manager in deriving integrated design targets for the IPT leads, teammates and key subcontractors.


Basic Qualifications Systems Engineering IPT or equivalent leadership experience, Risk Management experience, Trade Studies experience

must have a minimum of an interim secret clearance prior to start

Desired skills Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in a design engineering or physics degree, Systems Engineering training and execution experience, strategic planning experience, DoD customer interaction experience, subcontractor technical management, Green or Black Belt Training, particularly in Design for Six Sigma (CAIV, QFD, tolerance cards, etc.), DOORS experience, Affordability (Design to Cost, cost modeling, etc.) experience
