Lockheed Martin Radar Design & Analysis Engineer, Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida

This individual will provide technical guidance and manage program activities for a classified development program. Responsible for cost, schedule and technical execution of an IWTA to the prime LM division for the integration of advanced RF capabilities into MFC products. Experience required in management of Special Access Required projects to include planning and executing for required program areas, computer networks, and day to day management to ensure adherence to security requirements. Serves as the focal point for communicating cost, schedule, and technical status to the prime LM division, and ultimate customer.

A Systems Radar Design and Analysis Engineer is responsible for the development of Radio Frequency systems (radar related systems and subsystems) to include design, integration, test, and performance evaluation. This activity includes a requirement to coordinate vendors and other team members in development of either passive or active RF sensor systems for integration test and evaluation. Activities inherent in the design process include support of trade studies, presentations, proposals and related activities.

Basic Qualifications Candidate must have expertise in RF system performance analysis, system definition, requirements analysis, and flow down of systems requirements to testable modular hardware and software. Good hands-on hardware skills are desired. Excellent communication skills are beneficial.

Experience in ES/ARH systems engineering, algorithm development, signal processing, simulation and analysis tools (MATLAB) is specifically desired. The capability to develop threat models is especially valuable. Experience with Simulink is desired. Candidates should have a strong fundamental understanding of radar systems and performance modeling.

Must have a Secret Clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years.

Desired skills Experience with military Anti-Radiation Homing (ARH) or passive RF electronic surveillance (ES) hardware is of considerable value.
