Lockheed Martin Senior Maintenance Trainer / Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida
Write and edit repair procedures and technical instruction (Training) for all levels of maintenance and operation. Establishes and directs a training system and conducts classroom / practical instruction for the maintenance, repair, and operation of aircraft, aircraft systems, ground equipment, tools, test equipment, stores and facilities, per established procedures. May analyze current operating problems and future operating requirements to identify training needs and develop training programs.
Performs validations and verifications of work products in accordance with customer requirements and corporate policy. Interface with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to verify and understand technical concepts. Articulates SME data into technical manuals and publications for field usage. Research and read Contracts, Statements of Work (SOW’s), Technical Manual Contract Requirements (TMCR’s), and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL’s). Familiar with layout, design and structure of Organizational, Intermediate and Depot Level Technical Manuals (TM’s)' including Operation and Maintenance, Theory of Operation, Fault Isolation Procedures, and Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IPB’s). Read and interpret engineering drawings and software description documents.
Basic Qualifications Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance. Individual must be familiar with Air Force and / or Navy Technical Orders and training material process to update source material for both Have a working knowledge of MIL-STD style guides MIL-STD 38784, MIL-PRF 38807, MIL-PRF 87929 or the Government Printing Office style guide Excellent written and oral communication is required Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Adobe) Demonstrated experience giving formal presentations Limited travel required Must have demonstrated skills and experience in developing training materials using Systematic Approach to Training / Instructional System Development (SAT/ISD) theory.
Desired skills Experience with Air Force and Navy Operations, Aircraft and munitions storage, handling and aircraft loading procedures to include platform integration is a strong plus. Active secret or top secret clearance desired Knowledge of and practical use in CMBRE support equipment Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin Design Assurance processes Experience with tracking status for multiple projects Experience with contributing to the development of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) Experience providing logistics input to new development and proposal efforts Demonstrated ability to provide logistics engineering support to both development and post-production / sustainment operations Experience as stockroom, GFP or company asset custodian Prior military experience in related field
