This position is contingent upon a future contract award (expected in Q4 of 2017) supporting a Missiles & Fire Control program within the Engineering & Technology function, as well as Customer funding for this position

Develop and maintain embedded software applications and/or desktop applications for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) products. Typical applications are software products related to image processing, target detection and tracking, guidance/ navigation/ control algorithms, system control, built-in test, and system communication. Algorithm proficiency is required. Tasks will include development of code for both embedded hardware and simulations as a part of full system integration. Tasks will include algorithm development and implementation, specification and generation of telemetry and development of evaluation tools such as GUI applications and telemetry display tools. Hands on lab integration and testing including Software-in-the-loop and Hardware-in-the-loop development and testing. Development will be in C, C++, C#, and/or Ada.

Basic Qualifications Experience with embedded real-time C/C++ development is required. Experience with1553 communications Experience in all phases of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including requirements analysis, design, coding, unit test, integration, and verification. Experience with QT, Visual Studio, Window 7 64BIT Processing cards, 1553 PCIe Excalibur, QT, 1553 Communication and Aircraft Communication, vxWorks Workbench, Eclipse, Python Excellent communication skills. Secret clearance requiring investigation within the last 5 years is required

Desired skills Experience with VxWorks, Linux, and Windows Operating Systems Experience generating and maintaining program software documentation Experience with software configuration management
