Design and implement Mission Planning software components in the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) environment. Software duties include requirements analysis, design, development and test. Required skills include experience in C#/C++ Windows development and software debugging in the MS Visual Studio environment. Preferred skills include experience in GUI design, Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) development, use of static source code analyzing tools, use of automated unit test tools, use of UML design tools, and use of configuration management tools.

Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1.5 hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest
Basic Qualifications - Experience with C#/C++ Windows development is required. - Experience debugging software in the MS Visual Studio environment - Experience in all phases of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including requirements analysis, design, coding, unit test, integration, and verification. - Excellent communication skills. - An active Secret clearance is required
Desired skills - Experience with service-oriented architectures - Experience with Open Architectures and Middleware - Experience with object-oriented design - Experience developing GUI applications - Experience generating and maintaining program software documentation - Experience with software configuration management
