This position is contingent upon a future contract award (expected in Q4 of 2017) supporting a Missiles & Fire Control program within the Engineering & Technology function, as well as Customer funding for this position

Experienced technical lead to provide technical guidance and insight for a team of software engineers responsible for development and maintenance of embedded, real-time software. The technical lead would be responsible for providing guidance on the full software life cycle practices for both Ada and C++, troubleshooting production issues on hardware, hardware-in-the-loop design principles, software automation/scripting and simulation. The technical lead will be responsible for communicating with management on technical issues and be the point-of-contact in troubleshooting issues that arise. Candidate requirements: Full software development life cycle experience including requirements, analysis, design, code, hardware/software integration, test and verification. Expert knowledge in both C++ and Ada. Strong troubleshooting skills and embedded SW experience. Knowledge in hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) is desired as well as simulation expertise.

Basic Qualifications Experience with embedded real-time C/C++ development is required. ADA Strong troubleshooting skills and embedded SW experience Excellent communication skills. Secret clearance required

Desired skills Experience with VxWorks, Linux, and Windows Operating Systems Experience generating and maintaining program software documentation Knowledge in hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) is desired as well as simulation expertise.
