This position is for a Systems Engineer/Test Engineer with extensive integration and test experience with the F-35. The candidate will thoroughly test and validate the Distributed Mission Training (DMT) capabilities of the F-35 Training System during the entire product development phase, identifying defects, proposing solutions, and verifying implemented solutions to ensure a quality product is delivered. The Systems Engineer/Test Engineer will develop and execute verification and validation test plans and procedures, prepare and assess the system readiness, provide test data for analysis, and conduct briefs/debriefs with the customer.

The Systems Engineer/Test Engineer performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for the Distributed Mission Training (DMT) capabilities of the F-35 Training Systems. Analyses are performed at verification and validation portion of the total F-35 Training System product to include: test, installation, operation, and maintenance. Performs requirements decomposition, test case and procedure development, system verification and validation testing, defect tracking and problem resolution, and customer sell-off test activities. Assignment is primarily for 1st Shift work; however, program demands may require periodic 2nd Shift assignments.

Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree

  • Must have a Secret clearance with in investigation within the last 6 years and have the ability to obtain special access

  • Must be willing to work periodic 2nd Shift assignments
