• Design, implement, deploy, and maintain state of the art security architectures and countermeasures to protect and enable innovative new Lockheed Martin products • Balance security, compliance, performance, power and cost for a diverse portfolio of embedded devices • Evaluate the security of new product designs and analyze vulnerabilities and threats. • Prototype and test countermeasures that defend against cyber-attacks • Embed yourself amongst Hardware, Firmware, Software, and Systems Engineers to define and integrate security measures into a wide range of high integrity, safety-critical products MFCREFER
Basic Qualifications • Design of embedded systems written primarily in C/C++ • Experience with real-time operating systems and embedded hardware • Familiarity and design experience through the DoD systems lifecycle • Hands-on experience implementing Risk Management Framework (RMF) and development of required artifacts • Bachelor of Science in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering • Greater than 3 years of hands-on experience working with embedded systems
Must have an active security clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years.
Desired skills • Strong electrical engineering background, including both analog and digital domains • Familiar with the embedded microprocessor design process as how it relates to software assurance: compilers, debuggers, IDE and source code control • Good understanding of security protocol design and analysis, firmware and embedded OS design principles • Experience with secure coding and software assurance practices. • Penetration testing experience including use of tools such as those found in Kali Linux, Backtrack, or equivalent • Deep understanding of OSI layers and associated protocols • Professional software development experience in C, C++, and Python • Linux systems administration experience including STIG hardening and compliance checks • Software and firmware reverse engineering experience • Extensive knowledge of at least one of: secure boot implementations, cryptographic key management, state of the art cryptographic architectures for power-limited solutions. • Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following: defeating physical anti-tamper mechanisms, performing and defending against side-channel and fault-injection attacks, and/or reverse-engineering and exploitation of embedded systems hardware and protocols, and cyber security
