Staff position to the Hybrid Airship Program Manager, this role is responsible for hands-on management of projects, initiatives and special assignments. Key to coordinating projects is enabling the flow of status and situational information, including gathering detailed technical and programmatic information from multiple sources and having the skill to assess, consolidate and share with appropriate recipients. Prioritize multiple assignments in dynamic environment to ensure activities are well coordinated and executed. Successful candidate must be familiar with ADP and be able to establish strong working relationships with points of contact throughout organization to complete tasks on budget and schedule.

This position is contingent upon program award

Must be a US Citizen, position is located at a facility that requires special access

Basic Qualifications - Experience with staff coordination, transition, set up, and support. - Experience with project management or program management. - Experience managing complex projects

Desired skills - Experience cultivating and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers. - Experience supporting the creation and execution of materials for varied audiences, including editorial compilation and decision making. - Experience in creation, compilation and editing of weekly situation reports. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects to completion without appreciable direction and under competing priorities and deadlines. - Experience with program/project management and internal processes. - Ability to handle multiple, widely varied assignments. - Ability to tailor approaches to specifics of assignment. - Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to derive specific communications from disparate sources. - Experience collecting, synthesizing and dissemination of meeting notes and actions items. - Strong sense of follow-up and closure. - Experience working across all Aeronautic sites. - Detail oriented and self-starter who has a proven track record of managing and completing projects. - Experience in execution of internal/external customer engagements, including identification of strategy, agenda development, briefing content and logistics. - Ability to independently develop plans which foster team morale and energize the team. - Ability to rapidly resolve urgent tasks and execute ad hoc special projects. - Demonstrated proficiency in Earned Value Management. - Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and experience leading continuous improvement events. - Ability to involve and motivate others in a team environment and foster and gain support of new ideas/initiatives from key stakeholders. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive documents and information. - Experience working autonomously with general direction. - Excellent verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills. - Experience with quality written communications to varied audiences. - Experience working autonomously with general direction.
