Lockheed Martin Subcontract Administrator - Entry Level in Palmdale, California

Will support ADP/U-2 Program major subsystems deployed procurement team. Tasks include develop subcontract specifications, statement of works, terms and conditions, procurement of specialized materials, equipment and services, prepare bid packages, administration of repair and return contracts, evaluate subcontractor proposals, negotiate subcontracts, issuing properly authorized awards/subcontracts and participating in contract negotiations. Responsible for conducting cost analysis support, understand procurement activity under the guidance of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations) DFARS. Some travel required.

Basic Qualifications - Working experience of Microsoft Suite programs (Excel, Access, Powerpoint and Word).

  • Experience in government contracts

Desired skills -Knowledge of Windows, systems, applications and processes, SAP Knowledge is a plus.

-Should possess strong communication, follow up and computer skills and the ability to multi-task.

-Must have the ability to work with others in a supply chain management team environment.

-Problem solving skills
