The candidate will be a member of the Lockheed Martin Cyber Solutions Team supporting a US Government and commercial customer. The candidate will perform Cyber Training by applying established methodologies to provide new and ongoing focused vulnerability assessment, penetration testing and Intelligence Driven Defense training, workforce awareness, strategic messaging recommendations and solicit feedback from the customer and workforce to achieve all project objectives. Will be responsible for instruction of Cyber and security related training. Serves as a Cyberspace Operations Training Developer/Instructor to identify, develop, tailor, deploy, and provide Cyber and/or security related training and will plan, develop, and assist in the implementation of Cyber and/or security training programs for the client, including Train-The-Trainer (TTT) items. Prepare lesson plans and training materials, design product demonstrations, develop course content, and conduct training.
Basic Qualifications • Assesses technical and legal trends that will impact cybersecurity activities; designs and implements agency-wide security awareness training program. • Coordinates with other agencies to develop integration plans for new training courses to be included into existing curricula. • Analyzes annual reports and legal requirements of FISMA. • Leads process improvement teams in training gaps analysis to determine training gaps within an organization; identifies additional training needs, synthesizes research and findings to present training needs to agency stakeholders, and develops strategic security awareness and training programs.
• CERTIFICATIONS: (One or more required) CompTIA Net+, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security +, Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP). • CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Designation - US Citizen or Green Card Holder. Willingness to submit to a Tier 5 Single-Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
Desired skills • Develops training performance metrics to determine effectiveness of training and training programs. • Extensive knowledge in cyberspace Operations, and also have a moderate to extensive background experience in training and capabilities development as a Training Developer/Instructor • Solid understanding of network topologies and architecture • Plans, schedules, and delivers customized training programs and materials for all organizational levels, technical topics and other identified areas, and evaluates effectiveness of organizational development education solutions. • Assesses, designs, and conceptualizes training scenarios, approaches, objectives, plans, tools, aids, curriculums, and other state of the art technologies related to training and behavioral studies. • Identify the best approach training requirements to include, but not limited to hardware, software, simulations, course assessment and refreshment, assessment centers, oral examinations, interviews, computer assisted and adaptive testing, behavior-based assessment and performance, and team and unit assessment and measurement. • Develop and revises training courses. Prepares training catalogs and course materials. • Train personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars. • Critical thinking skills, both qualitatively and quantitatively. • Ability to work well with other organizations and personnel with disparate backgrounds. • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal. • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task. • Strong technical, analytical and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and with a team.
