Lead a team of trainers developing new courses and/or conducts formal professional training for customers, and/or in-house customer engineers, and/or original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), customer engineers in all facets of Ground operations, Flight Operations, all levels of vehicle maintenance, and logistics for the FURY Unmanned Aircraft system (UAS) This individual should also have an understanding the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and be able to track metrics.

The training may include concepts and operation of the FURY Aircraft, software, launch and recovery support equipment, Portable Power Generation systems, and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment. Apply instructional system design best practices for institutional training, training materials, and sustainment training. Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training and associated course material as directed and defined in Technical Instructions. Determines course content and student learning objectives; prepares course syllabi, lesson plans, and student manuals. Evaluates training materials and procedures and makes or recommends revisions to keep courses abreast of software and equipment design. Maintains class records; writes, administers, and scores tests. Counsels students and evaluates student performance. The ability to generate technical documentation to support operational tasks. Maintains and administers the training site classroom computer networks and training labs. •Minimum five years’ of experience performing troubleshooting and maintenance on aircraft systems.

This position is contingent upon program award, anticipate early July

Basic Qualifications Specific tasks include good communication skills, leadership abilities, content analysis with Subject Matter Experts, training content design, objective development, syllabus maintenance, creation of lesson knowledge checks in multiple lessons and delivery of courseware, and technical publication support. The ability to work in a fast paced, team environment consisting of technical writers, courseware developers, instructional designers and graphic artists.

TECHNICAL: •Technical knowledge of, and experience with unmanned systems specifically FURY. •Experience with FURY training materials and technical manuals. •Ability to facilitate classroom and hands on training of complex systems to FURY operator and maintenance personnel. •Minimum three years’ of experience as a training instructor and instructional systems design development experience. Moved from desired. •Familiarity with Microsoft office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) •Ability to convey complex, technical information effectively and succinctly in written and verbal form. •Must be able to interpret, paraphrase and rewrite engineering source data into a form suitable for the customer. •Ability to search, retrieve, update and store data to Integrated Digital Environment database repository and SharePoint repositories. •Must be a fast learner and able to perform independently in a dynamic environment. •Able to perform physical labor such as setup and take down of remote sites. •Willingness to travel to the customer sites to facilitate training.

INTERPERSONAL: Must be able to work in an environment as a Team Leader. The ability to own the publication and/or curriculum development process for a unique program. Ability to obtain and maintain cooperative relationships with team members. Candidate must also possess good interpersonal skills (both for written and oral communications); and be capable of working independently or as part of a team. Must be able to hold up under intense scrutiny by government customer and stay positive, with Can Do Attitude.

WORK MANAGEMENT: Ability to organize effectively, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and complete tasks on time without daily supervision. * Candidate must be able to obtain a secret security clearance. Obtaining a security clearance requires US citizenship.
