Lockheed Martin Production Control Supervisor in Shelton, Connecticut

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for team’s productivity while adhering to safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements • Provide direction to primarily hourly bargaining unit employees using established policies and precedents • Ensure projects are completed on time following established procedures, schedules, and work plans • Responsible for material transactions and movement to maintain accurate inventory records • Responsible for transition of work requirements and communication of priorities between shifts • Manage and approve employee(s) timekeeping in SAP • Participate in applicable meetings throughout the day • Manage employee development by developing employees skills and prepare them for future job assignments • Responsible for continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring standard work and environment, health and safety (EH&S) requirements are met • Administer and comply with all company ethics policies, principles, and practices • Manage direct and indirect budget • Other tasks or assignments pertinent to the role

Basic Qualifications • BA/BS degree or equivalent industry experience • 4+ years’ manufacturing experience

Experience / Qualifications • Able to manage multiple priorities and be flexible • Strong influencing skills • Must be able to lead a team and manage/resolve employee conflict • Good at following and creating procedures • Operate in a team environment • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for use at all levels of the organization • Able to ensure accurate and thorough communications with key internal customers and employees
