The UH-1N (Huey) Replacement/USAF Proposals Training Technical Lead is responsible for the planning of technical aspects for the Training IPT on the UH-1N Replacement program in accordance with the USAF Request for Proposal requirements documentation and supports other USAF proposal initiatives. The Training Technical Lead will assist the Training Functional Group to oversee and coordinate all proposal technical content development for large, complex training deliverables to include simulators, courseware, facilities, and related supportability content. The Technical Lead is responsible for proposal work associated with the development of training system deliverables from the earliest stages of scoping and planning, through development and testing, delivery and post-delivery. Responsible for planning activities from the earliest stages of developing strategy, through design, testing, delivery, and post-delivery. Ensures optimum resource allocation by coordinating engineering group leader and supplier activities through all proposal phases. Supervises program and department-level direct reports and conducts annual performance evaluations
Basic Qualifications Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance. Experienced with aircraft training system device design and development. Must be able to work across multiple teams and functions to integrate solutions. Effective written and oral communicator. Must be comfortable handling both executive and individual contributor communication. Demonstrated team leadership, management, and organizational skills. Able to quickly organize teams, delegate, plan, execute, and mitigate. Experienced in effective supplier management.
Desired skills BS degree in engineering or aerospace MA/MS degree in engineering or aerospace 10 + Years of experience in related discipline Knowledge and practical application of the systems engineering process is highly desired. Knowledge of Sikorsky Aircraft products, procedures, and practices.
