Lockheed Martin Logistics Associate Manager in Silverdale, Washington
Management of hourly represented and salaried employees performing warehouse operations in support of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program. Position is located at the Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC) on Naval Base Kitsap (NBK) – Bangor in Silverdale, WA. Candidate will have responsibility for the Material Stockroom, Hazardous Stockroom and responsible for Receiving Dock and warehouse operation for all aspects of the process ensuring timely receipt processing, inventory management of materials, accurate records and timely issuance of material to manufacturing and production areas. Ensure that all cycle time goals for material processing are met following established procedures, command media and system processes. Manage tasks within budgetary and schedule restraints. Coordinates/leads/performs subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, work assignments, salary, and recognition and career counseling. Ensure employee training and skills certification are up to date. Manage attendance and disciplinary actions. Ensure adherence to the Represented Employees Union contract agreement. Active participation in and implementation of improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality and performance. Collaboration with other organizations i.e. manufacturing, Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality and Shipping to ensure timely delivery of materials to end users. Provide campus wide support to all employees and organizations and interface with internal and external auditors.
Basic Qualifications Experience managing salaried and represented employees. Knowledge of Government Property Management requirements (FAR, DFARS, MMAS). Warehousing experience in a production environment to include FIFO (First In, First Out), Inventory Record Accuracy Kitting and Perishable/Hazardous material handling and storage. Experience with SAP, Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) and Automated Tracking System (ATS). Basic knowledge of MRP Concepts. Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership behaviors. Proven ability to communicate with strong interpersonal skills. Effective and efficient written and verbal communication.
Desired skills Knowledge of Consolidated Reutilization Hazardous Inventory Management Program (CHRIMP) Experience at FBM Field Site Green Belt Certified Experience with internal and external audits Proficient with Microsoft Suite – (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
