Lockheed Martin Mfg Support Team Member in Silverdale, Washington
Assists Group Leader and Building Officer for Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Missile/Reentry Systems warhead and missile production leading a group of represented, non-exempt employees. Provides safety and security oversight of nuclear weapon processing activities as the Supervisor in the Limited Area Production and Storage Complex conducted at the Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC). Responsibilities include: direct supervision of the hourly workforce; workload analysis, prioritization, planning, assignment and execution; coordination of operational requirements with various organizations; ensuring strict nuclear safety and security standards are met or exceeded; ensuring procedural compliance in the conduct of all processing activities; ensuring production quality standards are met or exceeded; preparation of production reports; and provision of technical on-the-job training. Selectee will participate in the Navy's Personnel Reliability and Nuclear Weapon Radiological Controls Programs (PRP and RADCON). PRP requires applicant to submit to careful screening, selection and continuous evaluation process to ensure only those demonstrating the highest degree of individual reliability, trustworthiness, personal conduct and integrity are selected. Selectee will consistently monitor employee activity against PRP standards. Selectee will be able to obtain and maintain a top secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications *Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Equivalent experience must be within nuclear weapons enterprise. *Ability to qualify for and willingness to participate in the PRP (Navy Personnel Reliability Program). *Membership in the RADCON (Radiation Controls) program. *Effective interpersonal communication and team building skills. *Familiarity with computer systems (Microsoft office suite) *Demonstrated knowledge of nuclear weapons processing operations. *Demonstrated knowledge of SWOPs used for nuclear weapons processing. *Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance; must have Interim Secret to start.
