Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Engineer in Stratford, Connecticut

The Thermal Management group is responsible for the development, validation, and application of aero-thermal analytical design capability across helicopter programs at Sikorsky. Areas of responsibility for the group include analytical design modeling for engine inlets and exhausts; engine bay cooling; fire extinguishing; fuel systems; Environmental Control Systems; and avionics cooling. The Aero-thermal analyst will be responsible for supporting preliminary and detailed analytical design activities in the areas of responsibility for the thermal management group, interface and lead program directed analytical activities and support ground and flight test, production operations and fielded aircraft. The candidate will also be required to interface with a cross-functional group of propulsion; electrical; avionics; and airframe designers and analysts. US citizenship is required for this position. Above work shall be performed in accordance with Sikorsky Standard Work procedures.

Basic Qualifications B.S. in related discipline required US citizenship is required for this position.
