Lockheed Martin Computer Apps Analyst Sr in Stratford, Connecticut

Sikorsky Aircraft, a division of Rotary Mission Systems at Lockheed Martin, is looking for a technical analyst/developer on the Java platform. Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software solutions to our internal users and external customers in the aerospace industry. Troubleshoot problems related to software applications; resolve systems integration and compatibility issues. Support software testing as required, including developing automated test scripts.

Core Responsibilities include: • Strong software development skills • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AngularJS, JSON, XML, JQuery, Web Services (REST and SOAP) • Relational Database / SQL Server, Oracle. • Be fluent in internal and external collaboration solution models • Work on multiple projects simultaneously with regular reporting in a structured, gated process • Author system functional requirements and technical design documentation • Work with business teams to plan and implement projects

Basic Qualifications • 5 years IT system development/analysis experience. • Technical experience in design, development, testing, deployment and operational support on an Oracle and Java platform. • Atlassian Toolset (Jira, Git, Bitbucket) • Develop in an Agile/Scrum project, taking ownership of tasks and stories within the sprint. • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
