Lockheed Martin IPT Analyst, CH-53K in Stratford, Connecticut

The Defense Systems & Services (DSS) Finance organization is looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide financial leadership to the CH-53K Heavy Lift Production Program. The CH-53K Production program is a dynamic program with complex reporting requirements that is responsible for producing upwards of 200 aircraft for the US Marine Corps. The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Production Manager. This position will partner with Integrated Product Team (IPTs) leads and be responsible for the coordination and execution of financial reporting requirements including ensuring the accuracy in developing and reporting Estimate at Complete (EAC).

Scope of work for this position includes: -Provide financial analysis and guidance to the program IPTs -Promote Earned Value (EV) compliance and a cost conscious culture -Utilize the tools and communicate the financial metrics required to ensure focus on cost management • Lead monthly and annual bottom-up EAC processes and support respective IPTs to ensure timely, accurate and complete EAC submissions. - Maintain and communicate key assumptions and financial risks and opportunities that drive realistic EAC’s - Identify and communicate significant month over month EAC changes with the corresponding technical drivers - Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to potential cost growth - Identify and implement plans to secure identified opportunities/cost savings initiatives -Assist in the variance analysis of cost/schedule performance of IPTs including root cause and corrective action planning -Ensure IPT baselines are developed and maintained in accordance with Earned Value management principles • Support ad hoc reporting and analysis to Programs and Functional Management

Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or other Business Management field, etc. from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience and education. - Experience in Microsoft Office tools - Quick learner with the ability to work in challenging, fast paced environment

Desired skills - Advanced application of Excel capabilities (knowledgeable in creation and operation of Pivot and Lookup tables, macro's), PowerPoint and Word. - Experience with SAP, Hyperion, COBRA and other financial business system applications - Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM). - Experience as a team member, working to achieve common goals; demonstrated initiative.
