The Landing Gear Design group has an opening for Associate Mechanical Engineer with an interest in the design of mechanical/hydraulic systems and definition of system requirements. The Landing Gear group is responsible for a wide range of products on all platforms. The group’s responsibilities include landing gear, wheel brake systems, ship securing systems, flotation systems and tail bumpers. Additionally, on the S-92 and CH-148, the group’s responsibilities are expanded to include mechanical mission equipment. Occasional travel may be required to support; Supplier, Customer meetings and reviews, as well as aircraft build support and risk-reduction installation and test, and Flight Test witness/support.
Basic Qualifications BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar MS Office Applications 3D CAD experience
Desired skills CATIA V5 Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Technical drawing/drafting skills
