Lockheed Martin Mechanical Engineer Stf in Stratford, Connecticut

ITEP integration engineering. Verify and document physical interfaces for the ITEP engine in a H-60M aircraft. Conduct analysis of ITEP engine to H-60M aircraft functional (thermal, vibratory, electrical, controls etc.) interfaces. Resolve interface issues Redesign and/or modify existing components to interface with the ITEP engine. Prepare models, drawings, reports to support ITEP program. Respond to Customer and Supplier data requests. Support Customer meetings and design reviews.

Responsibilities include propulsion design of various systems such as engine installations, inlets, exhaust, fuel systems, and environmental controls using CATIA V5, Matrix, and PLM design tools. Candidate will be able to work independently and perform basic structural analysis and performance analysis of systems listed above.

Basic Qualifications Rotorcraft analysis or mechanical design experience using 3D CATIA V4 or V5. Experience in helicopter propulsion systems (turboshaft engines specifically) and related sub-systems (fuel delivery, FADEC integration, inlet / exhaust and mounting requirements, heat and vent).

Desired skills Engine integration experience desired.
