Lockheed Martin Product Support Manager in Stratford, Connecticut
Responsible for Japan product support to include all facets of program execution and customer supportability requirements such as technical data, supply management, training, logistics support analysis as per contract.
These responsibilities include:
The Product Support Manager shall direct the following within the Product Support IPT:
(i) Product support questions submitted by the Japanese Armed Forces or MHI; (ii) Coordination with subject matter experts within Sikorsky to ensure that requirements are understood and good communication is maintained ; (iii) Coordination of the issuance of all relevant Alert Service Bulletins, Customer Service Notices, Technical Revisions, and Special Service Instructions to the customer per contractual agreement; (iv) To the extent allowed by licensing, notify customer of logistics, technical or engineering developments that may affect supportability (e.g. superseded and obsolete parts) at the earliest possible convenience; (v) Provision of applicable information related to maintenance and operational problems experienced worldwide by Sikorsky aircraft operators; (vi) Monitor cost-avoidance recommendations and advise the customer in the maintenance and support concept of the aircraft; (vii) Based on available data, advise the Customer on direct operating cost and life cycle cost savings and initiatives against cost in specific components or systems; (viii) Analyze maintenance difficulties and advise of any changes to maintenance, inspection and training which may improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance; (ix) Monitor and review new supportability concepts being considered or implemented that may be applicable to or provide benefit to the customer support infrastructure; and (x) Monitor or assist in processing of warranty claims.
Basic Qualifications 8+ years or more in the field with relevant programmatic experience.
