.Responsibilities for this position require demonstrated familiarity and application of NISPOM, (DoD 5220.22.M) which mandates the baseline Industrial Security requirements for Contractors, Classified Contract Administration and generation of DD254’s, Classified Document Control, Communications Security Administration along with other Security related duties.

The preferred candidate will have knowledge and application of Contract Security Administration, including security requirements for Government programs and contracts.

Provide oversight and assistance to the formulation and adherence of all personnel eligibility and access reports. Oversee the JPAS (Joint Personnel Adjudication System) to ensure that all cleared employees are properly in the system and changes or updates are made at the appropriate time.

Develop and implement program unique security plans (e.g. transportation plans, operating instructions, end of day checklists, etc.) Coordination with International Trade Compliance Office and Customer offices as required. Conduct foreign pre-travel briefings and post-travel debriefings in accordance with LM and program guidelines. Complete courier designation and authorization form or card, briefings, advanced notifications, and return receipts; pre-briefings for classified transportations/movements may be required. Assist with program specific briefings related to new or revised Security Classification Guides and/or DD Form254 requirements. Conduct administrative inquiries and resulting reports as necessary. Conduct and support self-inspections. Support DSS Vulnerability Assessments of program(s). Coordinate secure communication requirements and operations with Communication Security (COMSEC) team. Ensure proper destruction of all classified material. Familiarity with SIMS (Security Information Management System) to conduct inventories of classified material prior to destruction and maintain records of material destroyed, as appropriate. Conduct a 100% annual review of classified holdings. Assist with the proper preparation and review of draft/original/revised DD Form 254s and subcontract DD FORM 254s. Provide security guidance in support of classified meetings; assist other security team members, as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications Experience in a Security related field. Must be fluent in Microsoft office suite products with an emphasis on SharePoint, be able to understand and react to rapidly changing business requirements. Prior project management experience to include researching information , problem solving and root cause analysis.

Desired skills Experience working in a classified environment preferred. Aerospace industry experience and experience with commercial item determinations is preferred. Candidate needs to be a self-starter who is able to work in a high pressure environment while handling multiple assignments simultaneously. High energy, positive attitude, and good interpersonal skills required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance. Knowledge of COMSEC is a plus. .
