Software Technical Lead Manage the VH-92A Aviation Logistics Environment (ALE) software development effort for the Supportability Integrated Product Team.
Lead/manage the requirements development and analysis effort. Manage integration of software components developed by Sikorsky Engineering and suppliers. Lead the creation, review, and delivery of the technical documentation set. Lead the test and integration effort. Manage cost and schedule elements of the software activities. Prepare and deliver executive-level briefs. Coordinate with and support customer counterparts and interfacing IPTs. Manage concerns, risks, issues, and opportunities. Lead the software configuration management effort. Lead/manage supplier and supporting teams’ activities. Lead the performance and quality metrics collection effort in support of program objectives and KPPs. Develop and brief presentations for Technical Interchange Meetings and Program Reviews
Basic Qualifications BS/BA in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related IT discipline. Minimum six years of experience in software development and/or IT management Strong project management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) MS Project/scheduling tools IT / software development / software development life cycle skills Knowledge of Earned Value Management System.
Desired skills Master’s Degree preferred Financial reporting and control Knowledge of SAP, Primavera, wInsight, Contract Operating System, Sharepoint Software configuration management and quality assurance experience skills a plus Software documentation/writing skills a plus Familiarity with military maintenance operations Knowledge of Systems Engineering, Systems Security, and Information Assurance processes a plus Process control, continuous process improvement/value-stream mapping skills a plus Aircraft maintenance and maintenance systems experience a plus Exposure to Sikorsky products a plus
