Lockheed Martin Electronics Engineer Sr. in Sunnyvale, California
Designs, develops, and tests Electronic Test Systems for Space hardware at Subsystem or System Level. Includes communications equipment and systems; analog and digital circuitry; computers; and COTS test equipment. Responsible for design, debug, maintenance and repair of Test equipment, consoles, test aids and complex cable assemblies. Responsible for the synthesis of customer requirements into electrical ground support equipment (EGSE) or Special Test Equipment (STE) elements and systems. Periodic domestic travel may be required to support installation and maintenance of deployed equipment.
Basic Qualifications BSEE from an accredited college. Candidate must have an understanding and ability to apply basic Electrical Engineering principles, theories and concepts. Demonstrated ability to perform independently. Experience with using test and measurement equipment as well as trouble shooting experience. Demonstrated understanding of programming/software algorithms. Cognizance and understanding of hardware and software integration techniques. Candidate must have ability to obtain clearance.
Desired skills Cognizance of software principles and constructs as they apply to the control of electronic circuitry and COTS components utilized in test and measurement equipment. The ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment team environment with aggressive program schedules. Prior experience with industry standard test and measurement COTS components including power supplies, PXI platforms and associated interface cards.
Experienced in software development such as Labview, Test Stand and C++. Experienced with CAD tools such as Zuken, Autocad or CREO.
