Communications Systems Sr Manager to the Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) Director, responsible for leading the following activities: - Factory Intersegment System Test (IST) activities for the AEHF program - Communication Architecture & Trade Studies - On-orbit IST activities for the AEHF program - Risk Reduction system activities - System Testbed (aka Networked AEHF System Testbed) development and operations - Requirements and Interface Development This is a key leadership role within the SEIT organization, responsible for driving system test activities across the program. This leader will be responsible for all technical and programmatic (cost, schedule, staffing) aspects of the activities listed above. This role requires substantial interaction and coordination with Government system engineering leadership to ensure successful execution of program milestones and rapid resolution of key system issues.
Basic Qualifications Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated leadership experience and 12 years of related experience with satellite communication systems.
Demonstrated experience achieving results leading large high performance teams and their associated budget, including experience in hiring and staffing.
Demonstrated experience working with large subcontractor teams in an integrated environment, working jointly to achieve major system milestones.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers, management, peers and subordinates.

Desired skills Extensive experience in military satellite communication systems. Experience with AEHF or Milstar military satellite communication systems is a plus. Experience including RF communications, network architecture, algorithms for communication networks, requirements development, interface definition and system integration and test. Experience leading large organization (50+ employees) through various phases of a program life cycle. Experience with large proposal efforts. Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance or an existing Top Secret Clearance.
