Lockheed Martin Senior Security Representative in Sunnyvale, California

Responsible as the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) Palo Alto, CA primary Industrial Security Representative. Will develop and administer security procedures for all facets of security to include document and visitor control, classified programs, contracts, and communications security. Interface with business unit management, engineering staff and customer reps to design and implement security measures. Be familiar with and able to implement Federal security regulations that apply to company programs and operations. Coordinate with government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations. Utilize DCID, NISPOM, NISPOM Overprint and other program-specific security directives, when working issues. May support multiple Collateral and SAP-SAR programs. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office suite of applications. Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a high-stress, fast-paced, multi-program environment. Understand security classification processes and be able to make classification determinations based on customer requirements. Prepare security plans outlining regulations and established procedures for all areas of the security department. Develop security education programs and conduct security training. Investigate security incidents and violations. Prepare reports of investigations for management and customers, making specific recommendations for corrective and preventative actions.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Some program travel may be required. Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications Current SECRET Security Clearance with an investigation date within 4 years required for this position.

Ability to obtain a TOP SECRET security clearance.

Must have current certificate of completion of DSS required FSO curriculum for possessing facilities or must successfully obtain certification within six months of appointment.

NISPOM Experience.

Demonstrated successful results following formal inspections by Defense Security Service.

Ability to determine Security Customer reporting requirements and submit official reports as appropriate.

Ability to establish & maintain collaborative relationships with various organizations (e.g. Protocol, Business Development, Communications, Publications & Services etc.) in order to coordinate activities/procedures.

Candidate will have sufficient knowledge in order to be responsible for the leadership/conduct of internal, security self-inspections and associated follow-up actions.

Ability to independently participate in Corporate/Government inspections / assessments.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, diverse environment, while maintaining attention to detail and exhibiting strong leadership.

Travel may be required.

Desired skills Strong Presentation Skills, Experience with Classification Marking Document Reviews, Prior SAP/SAR and SCI Security experience preferred. Knowledge and ability to prepare DD Form 254 desirable. Demonstrated in-depth working knowledge of security requirements, including administrative, physical, Information Systems, INFOSEC, OPSEC, and CI. Proficient, industrial-based knowledge of JPAS, e-QIP & ISFD. Outstanding interpersonal and team building skills, ability to exercise Full Spectrum Leadership imperatives and excellent communication skills (oral & written). Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite of applications. Existing professional relationships with Government Representatives/Customers (e.g. DSS, ICE, TSA, FBI and other USG Agencies as appropriate).
