Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer in White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico

The Consolidated Resource Scheduling Center (CRSC) lead position is part of the Mission Planning team and will require certifications in Operations and Test. Initial operations certification will require 3-4 months period on shift. Once certified the lead will periodically provide relief to crew as needed. The lead will be required to oversee and delegate all projects within ops and test based on skill-set, workload, etc. In addition they will direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of CRSC Team projects. The candidate will lead team collection and review of Value Stream Metrics and implement plans to achieve goals including process improvements, efficiency initiatives and affordability step-down plans. They will participate in the preparation of all program reporting mechanisms, e.g. Technical Highlights, award Fee self-assessments, WARs, Site Status, etc. The lead will be the primary interface between the CRSC team and requests from management/customer. They will provide performance feedback regularly to team members and report back to leadership. The lead will work closely with Manager and Chief Engineer to drive the team to meet daily operational requirements and long-term program goals. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications As a lead the applicant must have a strong systems engineering/integration and project management skills, Leadership and strategic vision and proven customer intimacy. They should also have documented experience in following daily tasking timelines and supporting both routine and ad hoc tasking. Ability to react quickly and accurately to changing requirements. Able to use logical reasoning to respond with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment. Must possess outstanding interpersonal skills and be able to function in a multi-contractor environment. Ability to work effectively with people as part of a multi-disciplinary, multi-contractor team. Excellent customer relation skills to provide quality service to external users. Candidate must be able to work a rotating shift schedule. Shifts staffed 24/7, 365 days a year. Candidate must be willing to travel occasionally (up to 10%) for conferences and enterprise activities. Must possess a current TS/SCI

Desired skills Customer interface; resource management and scheduling; real-time operations.

•TREQS software experience, either from the CRSC or one of its users •Experience interacting with external CRSC groups (factory/users/providers) •Experience with DEII Lead functions (scheduling, PIT process, documentation, awards, etc)
