Lockheed Martin Demand Analysis Planner Asc in Woodland, Washington

Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders

Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements

Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times

Confers with supporting departments to determine status of assigned projects

Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions

Set priorities for other departments who impact the build schedule.

Prepares lists of required materials, tools, and equipment

Prepares production reports

Report on and maintain data for DTC (Delivery to Contract) performance.

Monitor and report on facility Lead-time performance.

Monitor and report on Production Plan vs. Actual performance

Monitor and report on Forecast vs. Actual results

May create or maintain item cards

May create and/or maintain Bills of Material and process ECO changes as required

May create and maintain back shop and standard production work order binders

May develop and maintain routing operations for guidance of production workers

Other duties may be assigned

Basic Qualifications Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
