As a software engineer on the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program you will work within a team of engineers to complete software development assignments and participate in software team tasks which may include, and not limited to: requirements, software design, software development, software peer reviews, testing, troubleshooting, planning, maintenance, user support, and process improvement with regards to Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program missile data systems.

Basic Qualifications *Experience in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java *Experience in database application development *Experience in software testing *Knowledge of software development lifecycle *Experience in Java EE (J2EE) web application software development skills (e.g. HTML/XML, JavaScript, AJAX, Servlets, and JSPs). *Knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems and SQL

Desired skills Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports, APEX, WebLogic, ADF Ability to understand complex architectures/requirements and create software design Ability to create software test cases/scenarios based on requirements Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members Experience with implementing DFAR/DIACAP cyber-security controls on software systems Experience with source and version control repositories (e.g., Git, SVN, Team System, etc.) Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies Experience with Java Web Start and/or Java Applets Experience with Splunk Log analysis Experience with programmatically developing/consuming web services (e.g., Java, SOAP, and WSDL) Experience with Cloud-based software development methodologies, including administering cloud services and deploying software changes to IaaS/PaaS hosted services Experience with programming in PYTHON, C#
