Lockheed Martin Wireless Network Analyst in Denver, Colorado

As a team member in the Lockheed Martin (LM) Enterprise Business Services (EBS) Data, Voice, and Video (DV2) Infrastructure organization, this Network Data Communications Analyst position will assist in managing a complex suite of network hardware and software across an enterprise network environment as a member of the DV2 Central Region team and Enterprise Wireless Local Area Network (EWLAN) service. This position will support centralized, datacenter hosted equipment associated with the EWLAN service, a network architecture which provides secure IEEE 802.11 data wireless network solutions for all Lockheed Martin sites. Additionally, this position will perform incident management for Central Region and Wireless break/fix tickets and service requests and will successfully maintain lean operating processes and procedures for managing change, problems, and overall service consistent with the EBS strategic objectives.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Configuring and maintaining Lightweight Wireless LAN Controllers and Wireless Access Points (APs). - Configuring and maintaining a Wireless Network Management Platform which manages all EWLAN wireless infrastructure components - Configuring and maintaining RADIUS Network Authentication Infrastructure which provides wireless client / device authentication services for standard EWLAN wireless networks - Configuring and maintaining DHCP scope configurations on either Cisco Switches or other purpose built DNS/DHCP/IPAM appliances - Troubleshooting the network components defined above - Create and periodically review network schematics, diagrams, and other program documentation - Coordinating network equipment and cable infrastructure installations - Performing adds, moves, and changes in the LAN and EWLAN Environment - Working with customers and internal personnel to manage related IT projects and provide customer service and technical support - Working with the IT Service Management Process for all Problem, Change and Configuration Management - Updating SOIs and other technical documentation, procedures and databases - Configuring and maintaining Routers and Switches

Basic Qualifications - Demonstrated experience with deploying, configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Lightweight Wireless Network equipment, to include Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) and Cisco Lightweight Access Points (APs) - Experience with DHCP scope configurations on Cisco switches or other purpose built DNS/DHCP/IPAM appliances - Experience with the administration and operation of IEEE 802.1x / RADIUS based network authentication infrastructure - Proficient working with Cisco Routers and Switches and associated IOS - Ability to work in a virtual team environment - Able to successfully multitask assignments and perform in a schedule driven environment - Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills

Desired skills - Firm understanding of radio frequency (RF) as it relates to data wireless networks and IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac specifications - Experience with Cisco network management systems (i.e. Spectrum + Cisco Prime Infrastructure) to monitor, configure, and audit Cisco wireless network infrastructure. Further, experience with maintaining the software versions and licensing configuration on such management systems - Firm understanding of IEEE 802.1x / RADIUS based network authentication using RSA SecurID tokens or Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates - Firm understanding of wireless network performance metrics to assist in the analysis of data captured by the wireless network management platform - Network certifications: CCNA, CCNA-Wireless, CCDA, CCNP, CCNP-Wireless, CWNA, CWDP, CWSP, CWAP - Proficient in Data Protocols (TCP/IP, UDP) - Proficient working with the Remedy ITSM toolset - Proficient working with Service Now - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) -Familiar with basic packet capture techniques and analysis.
