This exciting position is with the Skunk Works Common Systems team located in Fort Worth, Texas. This position is for an experienced Information Assurance System Security Engineer to use and apply technical and security standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques in the cybersecurity field to develop solutions to complex problems within Advanced Development Programs (ADP).

The selected candidate will play an integral part for a wide array of projects and portfolios as the system security engineer on the Enterprise Open System Architecture (E-OSA) Trusted Protection Technologies. The candidate responsibilities will initially focus on obtaining an Authority to Operate (ATO) for the technologies developed and supporting multiple lab, flight test, and contractual program events. This position will be involved in products at various stages of the system development lifecycle, including requirements generation, system and software design, implementation, integration, and flight test.

The selected candidate will be a member of a high-performing multi-site Agile team supporting multiple projects concurrently. The candidate must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must demonstrate effective communication skills as the position will require frequent program management and customer interactions. Must have experience building and maintaining internal and external customer relationships.

Candidate must possess and demonstrate a level of understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF), DOD Information Assurance Certification & Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and DOD Information Technology Security Certification & Accreditation Process (DITSCAP) certification processes. Experience with developing and flowing requirements, security design definition, integration and testing. Experience with Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) tools and procedures and other cyber protection tools. Experience with software installation/distribution and configuration management. Experience performing vulnerability analysis assessments. Ability to work within and outside of the organization to gather information on security engineering, cyber engineering solutions and technologies, and analyze for implementation in company products. Must have experience working in a team environment and possess the ability to plan and execute tasks efficiently and gather and disseminate information working with peers, subordinates and management.

The ability to travel on occasion is required.

Additionally, candidates must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This position will require a DOD security clearance.

Basic Qualifications Demonstrable experience with two or more of the following standards/guides: Common Criteria, NSTISSIP 11, DoD8500.1, DoD8500.2, JAFAN 6/3, DITSCAP, DIACAP, RMF, JSIG, CNSSI 1253 Experience with security architecture concepts such as TCB, security communications Experience/knowledge of embedded mission systems and architectures. Experience with Cyber certifications, tools and procedures. Experience with vulnerability analysis assessments. Experience with Cyber tool mapping and contribute to cyber tool planning and ability to develop and execute training plans across a number of organizations. Experience with Interim Authority To Test (IATT) and Authority To Operate (ATO) processes. Experience with the JSIG/RMS process. Experience with Systems Architecture and Requirements for trusted security products. Experience with Risk Management Framework tools and procedures. Experience with Earned Value Management practices. Experience in systems engineering, system security design and requirements analysis.

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Desired skills Patch Implementation and test verification. Organizational skills that would facilitate the development and articulation of Cyber security roadmap and training roll-out plan. Experience developing and interpreting design requirements and implementation roadmaps, metrics and other controls to monitor and report on program progress and health. Possess a CISSP or CSSLP certification Security+ Certification Experience with static code analysis. Ability to work task assignments independently and effectively in a team environment Ability to decompose requirements to assure accurate and efficient flow to meet and help drive business guidelines and program contractual needs.
