Lockheed Martin Senior Systems Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas
The selected candidate will be the Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) Lead and subject matter expert / focal for the F-35. The selected candidate will be responsible for facilitation, coordination, preparation, execution, and closure of various SETR events across the F-35 Air System. This includes, but is not limited to, software, ALIS, C2D2, Modernization efforts, and other projects. The role will serve as a resource for others in the F-35 Program to aid in the SETR process on various non-Air System-level projects. The role also requires the SETR process documents to be updated continually in the changing world of F-35. The selected candidate will be working closely with internal customer as well as external customers.
As the SETR lead, the candidate will also drive our SETR strategy going forward. The candidate will work with the customer and formulate a strategy that supports the Systems Engineering Transformational Strategy of the customer.
This will include the following: - Establishing the AGILE or Agile-like development process that supports 6-12 month centers for SW releases - Working with the Mission Systems team to define and drive implementation/execution of the In-process Review strategy - Defining how current and future design reviews are facilitated – in-person, versus virtual, linkages to models - Driving integration between SETRs/Agile and the push towards Model Based Systems Engineering
In addition, the selected candidate will be a Lead System Engineer on various F-35 efforts ranging from follow on modernization to sustainment. This includes System Engineering and technical activities required to meet contractual requirements in accordance with the F-35 SEMP. This includes but is not limited to Integrated Master Plan (IMP) creation; SETR support; Horizontal/Vertical technical integration of the overall Air System product development; Key Performance Parameters / Technical Performance Measurements (KPPs/TPMs) management; integrated technical planning and control for planning, monitoring, measuring, evaluating, directing, and managing the technical program; management of requirements; metrics gathering; integration; and reporting of technical efforts. In summary, the selected candidate will provide overall direction for adherence to technical policies and procedures to ensure integrity across the F-35A Air System.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
