Lockheed Martin Subcontract Administrator, Material Analyst in Grand Prairie, Texas

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Subcontract Administrator to fill a dual role of material analysis combined with subcontract administration and order placement for a recently awarded emerging program within Lockheed Martin's IAMD line of business. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of inventory control and the ability to take an immature Bill of Material (BOM) through the formal process of BOM release and explosion with the help of other functional organizations to include production, planning and inventory functional groups. The candidate will have responsibility for order placement for miscellaneous hardware with potentially immature engineering as the basis from which to procure hardware.

Basic Qualifications A strong understanding of inventory control Collaborative team-building approach Effective written and verbal communication skills Thorough understanding of Bill of Material (BOM) release process Understanding of (product lifecycle management) PLM drawing release and review process Working knowledge of SAP Comfortable with competing priorities and fast pace Problem solving skills

Desired skills Prior SAP experience Familiarity with P2P Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP) Interest in performing order placement for miscellaneous hardware, commercial hardware, IRAD, capital, test equipment and other miscellaneous hardware needs for program use Strong Microsoft Office skills Ability to work independently Interest in developing earned value and control account management skills
