In this hybrid role you will be responsible for recruiting activities related to employment and recruiting programs. Prepare for onsite recruiting events from sourcing and qualifying candidates to venue and marketing logistics and coordination of interviews with our college recruiting partners, hiring managers and other stakeholders. You will lend your recruiting expertise in evaluating employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral. Opportunity to work and network with all levels of management and across LOBs and Function to understand job and need requirements. Surface candidates and develop connections to ensure a strong pipeline of qualified candidates using social media, web based tools, creative marketing strategies, and other resources. In this role you will think outside of the box, color beyond the lines but stay within compliance. Put your negotiation hat on and provide applicants with information on the company, extend formal job offers, and works with a team of managers and HR to negotiate with candidates to successfully complete the hiring and on boarding process.

In this unique hybrid role you will serve as a leading contributor to providing direction and mentoring to others on the methodology of creative recruiting. This will be a fast paced, short turnaround time environment and to be successful you will have a demonstrated track record of measurable effectiveness in a high volume, need it yesterday environment. You will skillfully navigate cold calling at all levels and possess experience in a variety of sourcing methodologies and be able to develop strategic recruiting programs.

Specific responsibilities include: • Manage full cycle recruiting process for technical and cleared positions, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience. • Lead the efforts to develop, implement, and execute hiring strategies for client groups across RMS. • Strategize with TA Managers, HR Business Partners and Recruiters in order to stay synched up with client groups. This is especially important with supporting remote sites’ recruiting needs. • Partner effectively with HR teammates when working compensation, compliance, onboarding, and other processes. • Source and recruit top tier talent, not only to meet the hiring goals of immediate needs, but also proactively, in order to build candidate pipeline for upcoming and future growth demands.

Location: • Base location is Manassas however the selected individual must be willing to travel as needed and it is anticipated there will be frequent travel.

Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in HR, recruiting, sourcing, or related area of focus. Equivalent combination of experience and education will also be considered.

Desired skills Preferred Skills and Experience: • Prefer candidates will have at least 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience. • 5+ years’ experience staffing for technical positions and/or positions requiring high level security clearances. • Ideal candidates will have strong technical depth and a network of candidates in aerospace and defense. • Demonstrated expertise in non-standard recruiting methods: cold calling candidates and companies, organizing and executing ad hoc networking events, identifying industry experts and finding unique methods to engage with them, creating unique targeted sourcing campaigns, etc. • Comfortable interfacing directly with hiring managers including Director and VP level technical leaders. • Know how to present but not oversell candidates to their client groups; influence decisions by acting as the subject matter expert on talent but avoid dictating client decisions. • Know how to balance getting things done quickly with getting things done superbly.
