Lockheed Martin Project Scheduler in Littleton, Colorado

This is an excellent opportunity for an experience Project Scheduler to enhance a career within the Assembly, Test and Launch Operations (ATLO) organization at LM Space. Specifically, the position supports the Structural, Material and Propulsion Test (SMPT) organization at the Littleton, Co. campus with developing and managing detailed resource loaded time-phased schedules critical for driving on-time production and end item deliverables. The position also supplies resource and facility capacity planning information in support of schedule validity and captures financial data for earned value assessments.

The ideal candidate shall have experience with creating and maintaining multiple task related schedules using MS Project software in a preferred aerospace or production environment. Familiarity with schedule and budget analysis, capacity planning, risk mitigation, analytical problem solving skills and conflict resolution will be advantageous. It is expected the successful candidate is experienced with MS Office software, have excellent communication skills and be a self-starter.

Ideal candidates will have a work history that demonstrates the ability to support a production environment that requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to provide accurate reporting, the ability to succinctly communicate schedule and cost data and the development and implementation of new tools and processes.

Basic Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 3 years of professional experience - 1-3 years of prior project scheduling experience - Analytical and problem solving skills - Effective written/verbal communication & interpersonal skills - Self-starter / Demonstrated initiative - Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks / multi-task - Proficiency with MS Project and MS Excel

Desired skills - Experience with aerospace production and/or test operations - SAP experience with material & procurement transactions - Data Analytics experience/background - Proficient with MS InfoPath - VBA (Virtual Basic for Applications) programming experience - Prior exposure to EVMS (Earned Value Management System) tools/reports - Process Optimization and/or Change Management experience
