Lockheed Martin Reliability Engineering Associate / Orlando / FRACAS / FMECA in Orlando, Florida
This is a Reliability Engineering position that will provide reliability analysis and FRACAS support to the Sniper/LANTIRN Programs. The support includes: Conduct failure investigation of failure trends to identify root cause, corrective action, and implementation of the corrective action. Interface with the Reliability Engineering Team, Depot Team, and Program Management to convey failure trends, and status of failure investigations. Interface with mechanical/electrical/systems engineering and procurement to help direct the failure investigation of a particular trend. Develop reliability & maintainability predictions, failure mode effects and critical analysis (FMECA), and built in test (BIT) analysis. Identify Failure Review and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) trends to identify and prioritize failure modes to investigate for corrective actions. Recognizing opportunities for improvement based on failure data, sustainment costs, support development and implementation of system design improvements. Assess effectiveness of incorporated corrective actions.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related technical discipline (BSEE, BSCE, BSET).
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Possess strong computer skills, including in-depth knowledge of MS Office software and C Language.
General understanding of circuit design and schematics.
Desired skills 3.0 GPA or above
Experience with performing reliability predictions, and BIT analysis
Experience with the FMECA process including Maintainability
Testability/Built-In-Test (BIT) engineering experience.
Ability to read schematics/wiring diagrams
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience with developing and delivering presentations to peers as well as management.
