Position will be responsible for key functions of the Security program associated with maintaining the Facility Clearance in accordance with the NISPOM. The position will serve as a primary contact for Program Managers in support of numerous classified contracts. The position will coordinate Security support for cleared employees working at off-site customer locations.
Duties include, but not limited to: • Interface with Key Management Personnel to include the Senior Leadership Team • Facility clearance: Maintaining facility security clearance records • Security education: Conducting briefings and debriefings (initial, COMSEC, courier, FGI, NATO), providing site and duty-specific security training to new employees and on a recurring basis to all employees • Personnel security: Maintaining and verifying the accuracy of listings of cleared employees, coordinating personnel security clearance processing issues with the Lockheed Martin Security Operations Center, updating JPAS and SIMS databases • Classified material administration: Ensuring that classified material is shipped and received properly (including interfacing with Shipping and Receiving), tracking and ensuring the proper safeguarding of the facility’s classified documents and hardware, conducting inventories, copying and destroying classified material, issuing courier cards, changing safe combinations, disseminating program classification guidance and working with program employees to ensure an accurate understanding of the guidance and the proper implementation • Contracts/subcontracts: Assisting with preparing, issuing and tracking subcontract DD Forms 254. Also assisting with receiving, processing, distributing and tracking incoming DD Forms 254. • Visitor Control: Assisting with Administering the visitor control program and arranging visit authorizations for employees and others to gain access to restricted areas and customer locations • Consultants: Tracking consultant agreements and training
Basic Qualifications • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance • Ability to interface with executives, management, and employees at all levels • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal • Ability to multi-task and problem solve • Knowledge of NISPOM • Prior experience working with or implementing security plans for facilities and security operations
Desired skills - Facility Security Officer (FSO) Certification - Previous experience as an FSO - Hands-on experience implementing the NISPOM - Previous experience supporting DSS SVA's, Peer Reviews and Self-Inspections
