Lockheed Martin Software Quality Manager/ Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida
Responsible for the strategic leadership and performance of several key areas of responsibility within the Systems and Software Quality Engineering discipline, including Systems/Software Quality Engineering business process management, data analytics, continuous improvement, and hiring, employee development, training and knowledge continuity. The candidate should be a Subject Matter Expert in the area of Systems/Software Quality Engineering and an adviser for the Quality team. The candidate must stay current with industry standards, solutions and leverage technology into MFC. The candidate will be responsible for driving strategies resulting in contemporary and optimal business methods and practices for strengthening the Software Quality Management System and talent development. Develop and implement processes to optimize practices in driving out risks. Develop and implement an MFC Enterprise strategy which integrates cross functional teams in the execution of processes and needed technical solutions including Quality, Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, etc. Position is based in Orlando, FL. Must have excellent communication skills and possess a proven ability to effectively interact and communicate with management of all levels and with customers. Must have extensive experience in solving complex problems associated with the quality of software products and in Software and Test Equipment Quality Management processes. Must be experienced in corrective and preventive action and be proficient in data analysis as applied to quality system and manufacturing process performance. Candidate must be highly experienced as a team lead and facilitator. Have extensive working knowledge of Quality Management System requirements and governmental regulatory standards.
Basic Qualifications Technical degree, preferably in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
Software Quality or Engineering experience in Requirements Analysis, Product Integration, Verification & Validation and Test Equipment development process on both production and development programs
Highly experienced and qualified for performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems with a focus on continual improvement practices using tools like Causal Analysis to drive Corrective Action and Preventive Action
Ability to work strategic plans and tactical plans and negotiate optimized approaches across multi-disciplines within the Quality organization and the enterprise
Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, and all other stakeholders
Presentation skills in developing messages, training and compelling strategies resulting in diverse teams implementing and executing new solutions
Have the ability to communicate information to all levels of the organization and customers in a professional manner
Strong technical knowledge of Software Quality methodologies and Missiles and Fire Control policies and procedures
Understanding and experience applying Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI)
Ability to lead teams and influence
Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Desired skills Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems/models such as International (ISO), aerospace (AS), and FAA regulation
Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
Experience with Government customers
