Lockheed Martin Test Engineer Supervisor / Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida

Manages multiple areas of Production Operations Test to include cable, subassembly and system integration and test. Test Supervisor will provide oversight of the TLS Operations Test personnel to ensure integration and execution of schedule commitments, cost commitments, and performance objectives. Test Supervisor will establish work assignments in accordance with the program schedules and business requirements. Provide oversight and direction to the Product Line Operations Excellence Teams (OET) to ensure engagement with Operations initiatives. This includes identifying necessary improvements in test methodology and supporting equipment required to accomplish targeted efficiencies and throughput. Support all Government and commercial certification audits such as DCMA audits and AS9100 audits. This position supports the development of strategic initiatives as well as the tactical execution of continuous improvements within Production Operations. Responsible for coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions. This role requires the analysis of quality, cost and schedule metrics on a weekly basis. Supervisor will need to manage multiple simultaneous priorities in a fast paced production environment.

Basic Qualifications •Bachelor's degree

•Good conflict resolution skills and the ability to build respectful working relationships with all levels of personnel and management.

•Strong Root Cause / Corrective Action resolution skills

•Motivational skills along with the ability to energize teams.

•Ability to obtain a security clearance

Desired skills •Prior management of employees in an assembly, test or manufacturing support environment

•Experience with implementing and managing assembly or test flow lines

•Financial experience managing cost in a manufacturing organization

•SAP/COS experience

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline

•LM21 Green Belt, Black Belt or equivalent Lean/Six Sigma training

•Technical familiarity with TLS product area technologies including image generator and visual environments; console and test program sets; Flight and Ground Simulators
