Successful candidate will Perform RF/Analog production support and development work for advanced state-of-the-art receivers, transmitters, antennas, radomes, and anti-jam GPS systems on programs including MH-60R, JAGR-S, E2D, CP-140, MHP, RFI, MRFI, GSTAR, and VXX. Design, test, and evaluate RF, analog, and digital hardware and test equipment. Perform computer aided circuit design. Applicant should have some experience with laboratory work/testing and with analog, RF, and digital hardware, including practical experience with network analyzers, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
The Locale: Owego, New York is located about 200 miles northwest of New York City and about 75 miles south of Syracuse New York. Owego sits just north of the border with Pennsylvania and is part of what's known as the "Southern Tier" section of New York State. The region is home to Binghamton University and Cornell University. Niagara Falls, NYC, & Philadelphia are all within a few hours’ drive from Owego. Basic Qualifications RF Board Design experience required. Strong organizational and communication skills. Familiarity with MS Office applications. Problem solving skills. Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Desired skills RF design, digital/analog circuit design, antenna and radome design, test equipment design and programming, Spice, HFSS, ADS, Matlab, Labview, Wireless Communication. Experience with schematic capture and printed wiring board layout using industry tools (Cadence, ORCAD, Mentor Graphics, Zuken CR-5000).
