Lockheed Martin Project Management & Planning Operations Representative Associate - Entry Level in Palmdale, California

Provides coordinated support for internal business-related meetings, VIP briefings, and employee events. Will research, coordinate, and arrange for, as required, communication and facilities support to ensure successful business conduct. Position will assist in the visit planning process by coordinating detailed agendas and planning visit logistics such as scheduling conference rooms, coordinating with food vendors, and company staff. Position also involves planning and executing a wide variety of short-duration projects, some of which include planning, coordinating, and developing presentation materials, to support business operations and business meetings. This position may require occasional overtime. Position requires infrequent domestic travel.

Typical projects and activities can include: -Facilitating Company/Corporate VIP Visits and Business Meetings -Coordinating Projects across Several Departments and Teams -Application of Project Management Processes and Methods -SharePoint site preparation and administration -Supporting Customer Visits

Successful candidate will be well-rounded in diverse areas, have strong written and communication skills, and good problem-solving skills.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - Experience coordinating meetings, events, or hosting visits - Experience planning and executing projects that involve several participants/team - Experience creating and giving presentations.

Desired skills - Familiarity in diverse disciplines, including engineering and technology. - Experience working with executive leadership - Proficiency in MS Project and SharePoint - Basic understanding in using audio/visual equipment. - Experience with LM database tools such as eFSR (Electronic Facility Service Request), DR Planning System, SESIDS Database (Security & Emergency Service Information Database System), etc. - Working understanding of good graphic design principles - Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop. - Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint - Good communication skills for varied audiences, including written, spoken, and presentation preparation. - Ability to work in a dynamic environment and available to work overtime if needed.
