Lockheed Martin Operations planning and analysis analyst in Stratford, Connecticut
A part of Operations Planning and Analysis organization the ideal candidate for this key role will:
Provide support to the MRP Simulation, enterprise capacity planning, manufacturing labor estimating, Solumina MES support process, and the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. Functions include running MRP simulations to forecast the impact of differing aircraft build plans and resource allocations. Maintaining enterprise capacity profiles, supporting the labor estimating process for new proposals, supporting the Solumina MES system, and integrating all of the processes into a single process flow.
This position will require a highly adaptable individual, who can work on a multitude of tasks concurrently, across varying levels of the organization, manage change, be able to convert large amounts of data into concise formats, and learn new applications. The preferred candidate will be adept at assessing recommendations from across the enterprise, and performing an analysis to provide the best options for consideration that best benefit the business.
Identify opportunities to leverage technologies to further enhance the overall process
Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with Masters degree General database knowledge is required
Desired skills Excellent communication skills, and ability to work with all levels within the organization Industrial Engineering background is preferred Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Some experience with JAVA is preferred Project planning experience and presentation skills a plus
