Lockheed Martin Computer System Analyst in Sunnyvale, California
This exempt position within Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business Services supports Space Systems Company’s MilSpace Programs, onsite at the Sunnyvale campus in Sunnyvale, CA. This position has multiple responsibilities to stretch across IT disciplines, however the primary focus of the position will be providing successful desktop and engineering workstation/tools support; desktop / engineering tools break/fix support, and supporting end user service requests within the MilSpace environment.
Position is responsible for providing Local, Deskside IT support for desktop Clients and Users and Engineering systems/tools users; as well as support for the following: ITSM, SharePoint, and Account Maintenance. Responsibilities include: • Classified Operations and Desktop PC, Engineering Workstation, and Laptop Support • Printers and other peripherals • Networking devices and other infrastructure components • Stationary communications devices, such as desktop and conferencing phones • Audio/visual systems, such as projectors and teleconferencing equipment • Other electronic devices as required.
A current DoD security clearance, at a Secret or higher level is required for this position.
This facility requires US citizenship.
Basic Qualifications •Desktop support experience with the Windows OS (Windows 7,8 and 10). •Demonstrated solid analytical approach to problem solving and troubleshooting skills. •Ability to work a flexible work schedule as needed and support 24/7 on call schedule. •Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suites, including Microsoft Outlook (2003 – 2016). •Coursework and/or relevant experience with multiple IT disciplines to include: desktop hardware/software, mobile technologies, VPN solutions, software distribution tools such as SCCM; CM2012, networking fundamentals using TCP/IP and 802.11 •Outstanding customer service skills and commitment to customer service •Experience Managing IT Projects Experience with Cisco video conferencing systems and audio-visual systems -Work related experience with Video Conferencing operations -Experience with network switching and routing protocols and configuration -Familiarity with TCP/IP, IP configuration, peer-to-peer networking and IP addressing and sub netting as well as 802.11 -Familiarity with DSS/NSA requirements *US Citizenship required for this position. CompTIA Security+ certification
Desired skills -Some Familiarity with server administration. -Familiarity with Lockheed Martin policies and procedures. -Experience in IT customer service environment using Remedy ITSM. -Outstanding customer service skills and commitment to customer service. -Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Demonstrated effective teaming skills. -Experience with McAfee and Symantec End Point Encryption applications -Aptitude for learning new technologies -Desktop support experience with the Mac OS. -Possess or have the ability to quickly obtain DOD-required IA certifications. -Familiarity with server architecture and administration. -Familiarity with Lockheed Martin policies and procedures.
